6 Insta-ladies to follow

We live in a world where our mood, ironically enough, is sometimes determined by our social media timelines. Be it an outrage on Twitter or excessive wedding/ honeymoon photos on Facebook - they can very subtly play with our moods. In fact, I know of people who have deactivated their profiles, albeit temporarily. I have myself gotten irritated or affected by posts/ tweets/ photos at one point or another.
That being said, I do like Instagram. In my opinion, it is more controlled - where I don't land up reading retweets or random content that friends like of their connections. I like what I see most of the time.
I have been spending a lot of time on Instagram (probably an inappropriate amount) and I have come across some amazing profiles of some wonderful free spirited women. I would like to say a thank you to a few of them.

1. Karuna Ezara - She's a photographer, a model, a fitness enthusiast, a traveler, a poet - she writes some amazing stuff, a feminist (obviously!!) and most of her posts exude joy and excitement, and in a weird sense, serenity too.

2. Shreya (or Shreyii) - Her timeline is packed with colours of warm summers, shades of earth and dresses that speak of a modern twist to Indian heritage. Add to that some amazing jewellery. Basically, I like the fact that she makes sarees look so gorgeous - and makes them look so wearable. One day, I'm going to wear a saree, and it's not going to be for a wedding - thanks to Shreya !

3. Alisha Mishra - She's a food stylist and photographer, and though I won't say her timeline is only about delicious looking dessert and fruit and jam, I love seeing her photos on my insta timeline. Her photos are fresh, and make me smile. Also, must I say, I love the way she carries herself. Her insta handle is greymurmurs.

4. Imsu Pithsala - Bright and fresh, those are the words that come to my mind when her photos pop in my newsfeed. A lot of sunlight and a lot of white. Also, I love her dressing style. Very modern, feminine and chic.

5. Gurrpreet Kaur - Sometimes, I say a wow out loud when I see her photos. So much creativity in the photos. Even the everyday photos exude a strange energy. She's Bangalore based by the way :)

6. Amenah Jafarey - Amenah is a medical student from Karachi. Her insta handle is called 47giraffes. Her photos revolve around daily scenes, that are rather quite simple. Her photos give a sense of comfort - of soft linens, coffee and as I said, simplicity of the daily scenes.
